Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of Raven's Occasions services (a service of Ravens Restraint, Prince George, BC). By booking our services, you agree to these terms.

1. Services

Raven's Occasions provides DSLR mirror photo booth rental and event services in Prince George and Northern BC. All services are subject to availability and confirmed only upon receipt of a deposit.

2. Booking & Payment

• 25% non-refundable deposit required to secure your date
• 25% due two weeks before your event
• 40% due one week before your event
• 10% due day of service, after setup is complete
• All payments processed through Shopify. E-transfer accepted. Card payments subject to a 3% processing fee.

3. Cancellation Policy

• The 25% deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances
• Cancellations more than 14 days before the event: all payments beyond the deposit are refunded
• Cancellations within 14 days: all payments made to date are forfeited
• We are happy to transfer your booking to a new date where availability allows

4. Equipment & Power Requirements

Client is responsible for ensuring:

• Access to a standard electrical outlet (110V/15A minimum) within 25 feet of the setup area
• Access to reliable Wi-Fi for LumaShare gallery functionality
• Adequate space (minimum 8×8 feet with 8-foot ceiling height)

If power or Wi-Fi is not available at the venue, generator rental and/or mobile hotspot fees will apply. These must be arranged in advance.

5. Outdoor Events

Outdoor events require a canopy tent add-on unless the venue has covered outdoor space (subject to approval). All outdoor electrical and connectivity requirements remain the client's responsibility.

6. Equipment Damage

A $500 damage deposit is collected at the time of booking. This deposit is fully refunded within 24 hours of the event, provided no damage has occurred.

Clients are responsible for damage to equipment caused by guests or venue conditions. Repair costs exceeding the $500 deposit will be invoiced to the client. The client authorizes Ravens Restraint to charge their payment method on file for any outstanding damage costs not paid within 7 days. Alternative payment arrangements may be negotiated with Danielle directly.

7. Equipment Failure Guarantee

If equipment fails and cannot be repaired on-site, the client will receive either:

• A 75% refund of the day-of payment, or
• A free rebook of the event at a mutually agreed future date

The client's choice. Normal wear, minor technical issues, or guest preference changes do not qualify for this guarantee.

8. Discounts

Nonprofit organizations (with proof of registered charity status) and first responders (firefighters, police, corrections officers, and active/veteran military, with valid ID) receive 10% off Raven's Occasions photo booth and audio guest book services.

9. Review Incentive

Clients who leave a genuine review of their experience will receive 10% off their next Raven's Occasions booking.

10. Referral Program

Clients who refer a friend who books and completes an event will receive a $50 Ravens Restraint product credit. The credit is valid for 30 days from the referred friend's event completion date and cannot be applied until that event has taken place.

11. Limitation of Liability

Raven's Occasions is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. Our maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for services.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada.
