Pricing, travel, hours, insurance and data — the questions that come up most, answered plainly. Planning a private event? There are more pricing questions answered on that page too.
What do the packages cost?
Four tiers, published on the pricing page: Bronze $795, Silver $895, Gold $1,095 and Platinum $1,299 — three hours of attended service, four on Gold and Platinum. Prices are in Canadian dollars; applicable taxes are added.
What do the add-ons cost?
Extra Hour $149, Audio Guest Book $249, 4×6 Prints $299, Phone Charging Station $149, Outdoor Canopy $199 ($299 standalone), External Power Source $149, AI Photo Experience $249, Slideshow Service $249, and the Outdoor Entertainment Kit $499 for an 8-hour rental. Do corporate packages have published prices?
No. A brand activation for a conference, trade show or corporate event is quoted individually, built around what your event is actually trying to accomplish. See the corporate page and request a quote.
What area do you serve?
We’re based in Prince George, BC, and we travel across the north — Vanderhoof, Quesnel, Mackenzie, Burns Lake, Fort St. James, Fraser Lake, Valemount, McBride, Chetwynd and Fort St. John are all within reach. Events outside Prince George are quoted individually, so just include your venue location on the booking form.
What are your office hours, and does that limit when the booth can run?
Office hours — when calls and inquiries get answered — are 12pm–10pm daily. That is not when the booth can run: booked event coverage is not limited to office hours, so a Saturday-evening wedding is no problem.
Are you insured?
Yes — $5 million commercial general liability insurance. A certificate is available on request, and we routinely issue one naming a venue.
What camera does the mirror photo booth use?
A DSLR camera (a Canon 2000D) running LumaBooth on a Windows system. That is also what makes the booth’s screening questions, survey flow and auto-export options possible.
Is my data collected at a private event, like a wedding?
Data collection in private events is by request and curated for you. Nothing is collected beyond what it takes to deliver your photos, your live gallery and any prints unless you ask for it — a fun survey question, a gender-reveal vote — and then it is set up with you, for you.
What is the WorkBC Wage Subsidy, in plain terms?
A program that can reimburse an employer for a share of a new hire’s wages during their first months on the job, up to program limits. Figures are always “up to” and treated as an estimate — see the consulting page for how it actually works and what applying looks like.
Do I need a lot of paperwork ready before I talk to you about hiring or funding?
No. You need a general idea of what you are looking for. Documents — your WorkSafeBC number and rate letter, your business number, your BCeID login — get gathered once we know what we are applying for, not before.
How far in advance should I book a private event?
Popular dates — long weekends, December, and May through September — book early. Reach out as soon as you have a date; if it is short notice, ask anyway and we will tell you honestly if we can do it.
